floral lamp
This wooden lamp is a combines nature, with intricate floral woodburnings on each six face to capture the organic beauty and quiet strength found in the natural world. The cool glow from within lights the area below and compliments the natural texture and look of the wood on the outside. This piece merges craftsmanship and artistry, turning functional lighting into a poetic expression of growth and beauty.
My process started with the wood burning of flowers onto 6 panels of wood. After that, the construction of the actual lamp came, which was difficult. After assembly, I finished the outside with a layer of wood oil to make my designs pop and installed the electrical wire and bulb.
